About Us
Second Home Psychology is a telehealth psychology practice led by Director and Clinical Psychologist, Chiara Killey. Chiara is passionate about providing accessible neuro-affirming care to people who suspect they may be neurodivergent, and helping people find their own way in the world in a way that makes sense for them.

Chiara built Second Home Psychology after recognising that many of her clients were unable to afford autism and/or ADHD assessments and follow up support. Second Home Psychology hopes to assist clients to access this needed support by providing lower cost assessment spots each month, for low income or disabled folk (in addition to Chiara's full-fee assessment and therapy case-load).

At Second Home Psychology, we understand that booking in for an autism or ADHD assessment is a significant investment, and we aim to provide you with a safe space to comprehensively explore your neurotype in such a way that you leave feeling confident in the conclusions we have drawn together.

Lived Experience
Chiara is a neurodivergent clinical psychologist with lived experience of living and working with chronic illness.
Chiara has two young children, and is passionate about supporting parents who suspect they may be neurodivergent, or parents who are raising neurodivergent kiddos. Chiara has a particular interest in supporting new parents in the perinatal or postnatal period and beyond.
Experience
Chiara has worked in both public and private mental health settings, with adults and children across the lifespan. Chiara has worked at headspace centres, conducted research at Orygen Youth Health, worked in hospital settings and now primarily works in Private Practice.

Over the course of her career, Chiara has undertaken training specific to the provision of adult neurotype assessments (e.g. ADHD and autism), and continues to engage in regular CPD and peer supervision in this area.
